There is no limit on squad size.

NB: Due to field availability, Grade 10 Boys and Grade 12 Boys both play a larger format than teams will have played during their season.

They play the size that they will move onto the following year.

Result Cards

Fill them in! If you run out, please get more. No card, no result. Drop the result cards to the control tent, behind field 11 [see map]. Results will be posted online and can likewise be accessed on www.mccartneytournament.co.nz and sporadically in the results tent.

Referees

Referees are allocated from older grades down, although we never have enough to look after every single game. Unless someone is happy to do the full game, then please help out and do a half each. Teams are to provide their own balls please

Ages and Dispensations

There are restrictions around players wishing to play down a grade. For example, a Grade 12 player wanting to play in Grade 11 will need dispensation. This dispensation will need to be applied for at the time of team registration by emailing tournament.director@taupofootball.org.nz together with the reasons for the dispensation request  to include the name, date of birth and any extenuating circumstances. Once received, the request will be considered and responded to soon after the date we assemble team entries.

To confirm, there are no restrictions on players wishing to play up a grade. For example, a Grade 12 player can play in Grade 13, 14, and 15 competitions without any restriction or dispensation.

Decisions will be made by the Tournament Director, and will be final.

Girls get an automatic 1 year dispensation when playing in a boys (mixed) team in the boys draws. E.G. Girl aged 14 can play boys 13 without following the dispensation process above.
